Flag Request
Senator Kaine can help Virginia constituents and organizations purchase American flags that have flown over the Capitol for special events, ceremonies, gifts, or celebrations of achievement. Upon request, Senator Kaine's office can also have flags flown over the U.S. Capitol on a specific date.
If you are requesting your flag(s) be flown on a specific date, your order must be received two weeks prior to that date and no more than two months in advance. Normal processing time for flags flown over the Capitol is 4 to 6 weeks.

Please note: Pre-flown flags do not come with a customizable certificate that includes information about a specific date, person, or occasion. If you would like a flag to be flown over the U.S. Capitol that is associated with a specific date, person, or occasion, please do not select a pre-flown flag.
Pre-Flown Flag: Flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, not associated with a specific date, occasion, or person.
Flag to be Flown: Flag flown over the U.S. Capitol on a selected fly date, for a specific occasion, person, school, etc.
