Warner & Kaine Recommend Terwilliger to Be U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine have sent a letter to the White House recommending G. Zachary Terwilliger to fill the vacancy of U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Mr. Terwilliger currently serves in the U.S. Department of Justice as Associate Deputy Attorney General and Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Attorney General.

Terwilliger was recommended by a panel of attorneys from across the Commonwealth selected by Warner and Kaine to interview select candidates who applied for the position. The Eastern District of Virginia has offices in Alexandria, Richmond, Newport News, and Norfolk.
