RICHMOND, VA – Today, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine announced that his Southwest Virginia regional office will move from Norton to Abingdon on February 2nd, 2015 in order to better accommodate all constituents across the region, from Blacksburg to the Cumberland Gap. The new office location will be 121 Russell Road, Suite 2 in Abingdon.
“For the past two years, the people of Norton have welcomed me and my regional staff as a part of their community,” Kaine said. “Our Southwest Virginia office covers the large area from Cumberland Gap to Blacksburg, and an Abingdon location will enable us to maximize service to the region. We are committed to maintaining a regular presence in the Norton and Wise County area through ‘Kaine Connects’ remote office hours and a continued commitment to addressing the needs of our constituents in the coalfields.”
In addition to his Southwest Virginia regional office, Kaine has opened regional offices in Danville, Manassas, Richmond, Roanoke and Virginia Beach.
