Kaine Statement on Conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine released the following statement:

“Secretary Blinken’s meeting with Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders comes at a crucial point in this crisis. There must be constructive dialogue towards a peace agreement. In particular, the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Lachin corridor is harming civilians and undermining efforts to establish stability in the region. Free and open transit through the Lachin corridor must resume immediately.”
