Kaine Announces Additional Member Of Senate Staff
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tim Kaine announced today that Diane Kaufman will serve as Regional Director for Eastern Virginia.
“I’m proud to announce that Diane Kaufman will join my state team as Director of my Eastern Virginia regional office,” said Kaine. “Located in Virginia Beach, this office performs important casework, constituent services, and outreach to individuals and groups throughout the area stretching from Williamsburg through Hampton Roads and across to the Eastern Shore. Diane’s talent, experience in the region, and commitment to public service will be a tremendous asset to help me serve constituents throughout the region.”
Diane joins the Kaine team from a private sector government affairs position. She has extensive experience in the Hampton Roads area working previously at the Virginia Port Authority, as a legislative assistant to then-Delegate Kenny Alexander, and as a director for WAVY-TV and WGNT-TV. Additionally, Diane worked as the Hampton Roads political director for the Tim Kaine for Governor campaign. She holds BS and MA degrees from Old Dominion University.
Diane will begin in her new role on February 18th, 2014.
