WCAV: Kaine Talks About How A Meeting With UVA Students Inspired A Senate Passed Bill

In December 2014, U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) met with a group of students from the One Less organization at the University of Virginia to discuss ways the federal government could help keep students safe from sexual assault. After the meeting, Kaine introduced theTeach Safe Relationships Act, which passed the Senate on a strong bipartisan vote. He discussed his bill with WCAC Charlottesville.
