Career and Technical Education: Past, Present and Future

In honor of CTE Month and the 100th anniversary of the Smith-Hughes Act, the first major federal investment in secondary career and technical education, the Senate CTE Caucus is hosting a briefing on how CTE has evolved over the past 100 years, the ways in which it is preparing America’s future workforce, and what the future of CTE looks like. Panelists will also discuss how federal policy can further support CTE.
